It's officially February now! Not that the weather is any different here then it had been in January, it's just something about this month that makes it better then January. Who knows why?
Anyway, Troy Women has officially opened! Tonight was our opening and it was great! Everyone was so amazing in the show. Everything came together and people loved it! I've never felt so happy to be a part of a show in all of my life. I proudly walk to the Pryz after every show covered in fake blood and dirt (cocoa powder and red velvet cake batter, great smell) and enjoy the multiple times I am asked what happened to my face. In high school, I would never have gone out in public like that. I guess I've grown.
The cast is amazing. We are all super goofy but know when it is time to get to work and become connected with the terrible lives of the Trojan women. Every person in the cast is incredibly talented and just wonderful. I'm going to miss the three seniors involved in this show so much.
Today was an amazing day with the only low point being when I had to clean the really gross microwaves and fridge in the Hartke. It was awful. Never allow anything to get that dirty, people will hate you forever when they have to clean it.
Life is just swell here and I'm very happy. The last week has been very nostalgic for me in terms of listening to music from my childhood and re watching We're Back! A Dinosaur Story which I remember loving as a child. The funniest part of the movie is the fact that three of the voices are Walter Cronkite, Jay Leno, and Julia Child. Talk about a random cast. It still is super entertaining including the really strange Little Richard song at the end.
There are two more days left of Troy Women and I will be so sad when it is over. Who will I tell my highs and lows to?
I hope everyone has a good February. Thanks for reading!
Bye-Bye!
It sounds like you are enjoying this as much as 3 Muskateers. Wow! What is the title from?
